In this follow-up discussion to our interview with mom and active duty Air Force member Juno in the previous episode, we cover development stages and corresponding ages your kiddos might be in as you prepare to deploy, work through a deployment, or re-integrate after a deployment. We talk about the importance of security in kids’ lives, how consistency helps build security and how – even in the military – we can create consistency or provide the necessary security our kids need to survive extended separations from parents.
