In this episode, I introduce to you guys my childhood friend Travis Hughes. We talk about his journey growing up in Louisiana, navigating his emotions before and after his father went to prison when he was a child and the lessons he learned from those moments of adversity. We also explore his career path after being laid off, how he survived in between jobs and how he was able to overcome some financial challenges to eventually own his own business. Last but not least, we explore his interracial marriage with his wife Tamesha and how much he has learned throughout their journey together as a committed couple and parents. Travis also opens up and shares the hardships and challenges that come along with the differences in culture. There are views he shares from an inside perspective as well as how he views the outside voices of society and the challenges that arise with the different voices and opinions. Overall, this episode with Travis is full of encouragement and so much wisdom from his life. He authentically shares his mindset and perspective through so many challenging times and breaks down his decision making process in a way that is truly inspiring for all of us, no matter what we are going through. You can find Travis on Facebook at Travis Hughes.
