Episode 11: Guest - Carl EnglishFrom shooting hoops on the side of the highway in rural Newfoundland, to going head to head with Kobe Bryant; Carl English has written quite a story.He experienced the tragedy of losing his parents at a young age and the triumph of a 20 year basketball career, as well as being a husband and father.Carl played NCAA D1 at the University of Hawaii for the Rainbow Warriors and traveled the World playing professionally in Countries like Croatia, Italy and Spain, He was also Captain Canada for several years as part of a Canadian National Team that helped lay the groundwork for much of the success basketball in Canada currently enjoys.Carl believes one of the biggest lessons in life is being able to get back up and move forward, no matter how hard or how many times you get knocked down.That fighting spirit has guided Carl his entire life.So proud to have this Canadian icon join me on the latest episode of "Around The NBLC"Visit the NBLC Website - www.NBLCanada.caWatch games Live at the NBLC Livestream - www.NBLCLive.ca#NBLC9
