Ryan Carpenter, a former Gonzaga Baseball player, and now current Major League Baseball. With ups and downs within his career, getting drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2011 and getting let go in 2014, he had to prove everyone and himself, that he is meant to stay in this league. Fast forward ahead in 2019, we find him pitching for the Detroit Tigers and going head to head with the one team that let him go in 2014, the Tampa Bay Rays. He ended up bringing his team to a W and having his redemption.
