Mariko Konno is an artist and illustrator with Japanese and Scottish heritage. The Japanese side of her family are from one of the towns that was most impacted by the 2011 Tsunami. We had a rich conversation about culture, family and art and how they can intersect in unexpected ways. And as always, a poem at the end inspired by the interview.
