Dr. Samuel Poore, MD, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Poore completed his MD and PhD at Brown University. From there, he went on to complete his residency in surgery at the University of Wisconsin Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Finally, Dr. Poore did a fellowship in Microsurgery and Research at the Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery. In this podcast, Dr. Poore talks about the huge effect which his parents had on him, the importance of mentors, and the less known side of plastic surgery.
