Dougald Hine is an internationally-known social thinker and a creator of projects, organisations and events. These include the award-winning educational web start-up School of Everything, the civic ideas agency Spacemakers and the Dark Mountain Project, a cultural movement seeking new narratives to help us make sense of this age of global disruption. His clients include Google, the European Commission, the British Council, Design for London and Kings College, London. He is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Centre for Educational Research and Development, University of Lincoln and Thinker-out-of-Residence to the Scarcity and Creativity in the Built Environment project at the University of Westminster. In 2012, he was named by NESTA (the UK's innovation agency) as one of Britain's 50 New Radicals. Since 2010, he has published three volumes of the Dark Mountain journal (edited with Paul Kingsnorth) and Despatches from the Invisible Revolution (edited with Keith Kahn Harris).
