On episode #39 of The XIX Podcast, host Charlie Zamora interviews DJ Lantz. DJ is a native of New Hampshire where his childhood revolved around sports. Although he grew up around the game of golf, it was not until 15 years old that he decided to take the game more seriously. Following high school he received a scholarship to the University of Hartford where he played Division I NCAA golf and was named 2010 Scholar- Athlete of the year. Following college he packed his car and moved to Jupiter, Florida to further pursue the dream of playing on the PGA Tour. After a failed attempt to get through Q- School he had the unique opportunity to do a photoshoot with New Balance Golf. That photoshoot ended up being a turning point in his career shifting his focus from playing professionally, to working in front of the camera in both golf and fitness. DJ now works for 8AM Golf with his primary focus on Golf.com & Golf Magazine as on air-talent and content production.
