Everyone knows the story of Ram's return to Ayodhya, but who was waiting in the city and what were those fourteen years like for them? In this Diwali special of Ramayan with SP, Srishti tells the story of Bharat, the brother who refused a crown, ruled a kingdom in the name of a pair of sandals, and counted the days until the one he loved came home. It is a story about love, restraint, and the quiet strength of waiting, and it makes the festival of lights feel a little different.
