Actor Lars Jacobson presents Nathan Caine in "Novocaine lookmovie," a kind assistant manager at a credit union with a special secret. His inability to feel pain stems from a hereditary defect, which forces him to live a very regimented and cautious life. When Sherry, an employee who is keen to establish a relationship with her boss, shows up, his entire world shifts. Nathan gets a taste of love when Sherry accepts his physical condition and their banter turns into a date. The peace is disrupted, though, during an afternoon shift, when bank robbers Simon, Andre, and Ben take over the facility in an attempt to steal money. As their scheme goes awry, they take Sherry hostage.
