Episode 58 of the conversations between Dr. Yogita Pant and Dr. Anil Chawla starts with Nakul’s victorious campaign towards the West. As Yuddhishthir was thinking about preparing for Raajsooy yagy, Vaasudev Krishn came to Indraprasth. Yuddhishthir welcomed Krishn and requested Krishn to be the key person for the Raajsooy yagy. Krishn asked Yuddhishthir to play the key role. After receiving instructions from Krishn, Yuddhishthir started planning and preparations for the grand yagy. Arrangements were made for housing and food for the large number of guests that were expected. Special ambassadors were sent to invite kings, brahmins, businessmen and also prominent shoodrs. Yuddhishthir sent his brother Nakul as a special emissary to Hastinapur to invite family and relatives. Soon, kings and others started arriving. Yudhishthir welcomed them all. However, a special welcome was accorded to the delegation from Hastinapur. All of them were given key responsibilities and authorities. (Mahabharat/Sabhaaparv/ Digvijay Parv/Chapters 32-35).

Mahabharat and Valmiki Ramayan are the two fundamental foundation epics of Hinduism. Mahabharat teaches one about every aspect of life. The struggle in the epic is the clash between two different life-values. Dwaipaayan Krishn and Vaasudev Krishn put in relentless and continuous efforts to establish and strengthen the same fundamental values and ideals for which Ram fought the war against Raavan. By learning and understanding this story and by adopting the learnings into our behaviour we can make our life happy and rich.
