Jessica Dennes interviews Alexei Marquez, a PhD student and native Tucsonan who discusses her experience with the Mexican American Studies/Raza Studies program at Tucson High before the state legislature dismantled the program in 2010. She also gives insight into how the experience shaped her future.

We will be breaking down big ideas through conversations to help one another wrestle with ways to engage our communities. We will talk frequently about race, disabilities, advocacy, and faith while also bringing in guests to share their various expertises and how they use their skills to ultimately engage and heal the city.
