Miscellaneous
Hello, hello everybody and welcome to your life is non negotiable podcast. This is a podcast where we help women make their health and life non-negotiable after they have neglected their bodies while caring for the people that they love. And the problem is it's this kind of thing stacks up on you all the time. You tend to let yourself go. The moment that life gets in the way, why is our health always sacrificed the minute we feel overwhelmed with time. Meanwhile, it is my mission and my passion to help people understand that especially when you are crazy stressed out. This is the time that's most important to make sure you are exercising and burning out that stress, making sure you're eating healthy. So you can think clearly through all these problems. We do that through a six week transformation program. It has been extremely successful. We've served over 1200 people through this program at this point and we've had a phenomenal success rate as a result. So today and over the next 30 days, we're going through a 30 day, this not that challenge. And that was X inspired by one of my clients a couple of weeks ago when she said, you know, I know I need a little bit of a reboot and I've sunken into a few of my old habits and I need to switch up for a couple of healthier alternatives. So it's my mission over the next 30 days to give you some options when it comes to switching around, uh, what you, uh, normally snack on. So today we're covering dips, dip, dip, dip, dip, dips. I'm gonna not show company names here. So a, this is the company name that I do actually want to start with. Love these guys. These guys are called Rossum. What kind of company name is that? Isn't that perfect? They are rasa because it's raw food and they are awesome. So listen, this is a non cultured, a cashew tree, a cream cheese. So for those of you guys who love your cream cheese, you love your vegetable dips, you love just adding a little bit of flavor to vegetables or you shouldn't be having those bagels. But if you are, this is, um, a really great alternative and it's with great pride that I can read those ingredients to you. You've got cashews, you have filtered water, chives, onion powder, organic enzyme culture, sea salt, boom. That's it. That's all right. So they classify themselves as raw vegan, no dairy, no soy, no GMO, no oils, probiotics, gluten free. Um, guys, it tastes delicious. Like they really, this company does an amazing job. I really love. It's part of our staple. Um, so I'm going to compare that with X, Y, Z company here, which I'm not going to say out loud, but this is your, your typical, um, cream cheese product. They say no artificial flavors or colors. Um, but unfortunately there's a couple of things here that we have to, um, talk about. OK. So the first ingredients is a modified milk ingredient. And basically what that means is that they've processed the milk. Um, when they've been able to process the milk, sometimes they add a little bit of chemicals in there. Sometimes they filter out the key scenes and some of the proteins that, um, when you remove those things, it allows for a little bit more shelf life. Right. And because it's not really milk anymore and it's not really cream anymore, they have to call it modified, um, milk. It doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad. It really depends on where the dairy is coming from. The dairy is the problem. So the cows, when they are feeding the cows, they are usually feeding the cows with a whole bunch of stuff, including corn, wheat and soy. As we talked about in yesterday's podcast, corn, wheat and soy are probably, um, the cheapest, uh, plants to grow and the easiest to modify. They also feed them to cattle because they're super cheap as well. So chances are they're feeding them these GMO products that are filled with pesticides. Uh, corn, wheat and soy is definitely, I'm gonna bulk up the cuddle, which is why also that they feed the
