Darlene L. Turner is an author with Love Inspired Suspense, a division of Harlequin; however, her own love story took some interesting turns. As a young married woman who thought she was living a fairy tale, she was blindsided when her husband of 5 1/2 years left her without explanation. What she later learned was that he had chosen a homosexual lifestyle . Her white picket fence came crashing down. Darlene experienced more loss through a lot of death in her immediate family, yet through it all, she chose joy.
