Alison Zupancic originally hails from North Ridgeville, OH, a small town outside of Cleveland that’s just 10 square miles, but since graduating from the University of Toledo in 2009, she’s been enjoying big-city life in the nation’s capital. The law enforcement professional lives in the hip Navy Yard neighborhood — just a stone’s throw from Nationals Park, which fits in nicely with her active lifestyle and athletic past. Shortly after moving to Washington from the Buckeye State over a decade ago, Alison joined the all-female tackle football league D.C. Divas as an offensive lineman. She’s since moved on, but remains active with regular sweat sessions at SoulCycle, Solidcore, and doing CrossFit. Alison is also passionate about fashion, identifying as an ardent body positivity and size inclusivity supporter and taking inspiration from influencers and fellow advocates like Ashley Graham, Tabria Majors, and Katie Sturino. And, the aspiring model’s style isn’t just limited to the newest trends either — she’s a major thrifter, hitting up vintage stores whenever she’s on the road for work.
