Cougs Daily for August 9, 2018 began with a preview of the defensive tackle position for BYU, where Khyiris Tonga leads a developing unit that could be a point of strength for the Cougars defense. Jake Hatch talked with Zac Dawe about his return to health and playing at tackle (10:59). Hatch then examined the four Cougars who were announced among the 50 player watch list for the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame College Player of the Year award (19:41). Finally, in "Quick Hits" the BYU women's volleyball preseason national ranking and the women's soccer team getting preseason WCC accolades were acknowledged (24:15).
