In Luke 18:15-17, as a gentle friend and teacher, he reorients the hearts of his disciples and realigns them with God’s value system, showing them how God feels about the emerging generation. For God, children and teenagers are not problems to be fixed or potential to be tapped, but people to be valued and loved right where they’re at as members of God’s Kingdom and plans. And this is His heart for us all—to trust in Him with childlike faith and not in our own abilities and agendas.
