Rod founded PCA in 2014 and has been dedicated to connecting many corners of Colorado to Recovery Coach Trainings and increased recovery support throughout Colorado. He became a Core CCAR trainer in 2017 and is currently training CCAR coaches and trainers in the West.He is Certified Addictions Counselor III, Certified Core CCAR Recovery Coach Trainer, Colorado Credentialed Peer & Family Support Specialist, and community organizer who offers over 15 years of experience counseling and mentoring/supporting people as well as discovering new applications of the peer to peer support movement.About Angelo Lagares-Angelo Lagares is a certified recovery support specialist and recovery coach and the founder and managing director of Latino Recovery Latino Advocacy. (LARA) Latino Recovery Advocacy is a grassroots advocacy movement that is changing lives by removing language barriers for the Latino community and sharing the message of recovery. We speak recovery and advocate for language accessibility.By working closely with people in recovery, their families, recovery community organizations, treatment providers, and other advocacy groups, LARA is dedicated to ensuring that people affected by addiction do not encounter language barriers.
