1 Corinthians 12:31-13:13 A STILL MORE EXCELLENT WAY Jesus has offered up Himself as a sufficient sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, and He’s put His Spirit in us. Now that the love of God dwells in us by the Spirit, we cannot sit by on our blessed assurances while the people around us slip into Hell. We cannot say that we are filled with the love of Christ if we are unwilling to obey the command of Christ. We cannot say we love God, whom we have never seen if we don’t love the people around us.
