If you saw the news, SB Nation will be converting management of its California team sites, including McCovey Chronicles, from a freelancer model to an employee model in compliance with California's AB5 law set to go into effect January 1st. There's a decent amount of overlap between the new law, SB Nation's decision, and the current state of the business of baseball, and so where those things overlap, we talk about them.
