We talk a lot about our current situations, which as you may know if you’re listening to this around the time it comes out, is the COVID-19 social distancing stuff. It’s important to mention, as we do every episode, we are not doctors. Please refer to the CDC website guidelines for information or any questions you may have. New to Hate to Weight? In This Episode: Emily’s coming up on her birthday and she’s indulging. Anyone else find themselves ordering more shelf-stable food than they normally do? Emily has a problem with Cheesy Puffs! Never get her started on the “Essence.” It’s also our two-year anniversary. One thing we’re not dealing with are the bakers at work anymore. It’s amazing the stuff we do for free food. But we make sure not to be the Office Scavenger in a stealth way. (Or so we think) Do you relate? Have you also had secret tricks to eating? Let us know! Email us at hatetoweight@gmail.com Emily’s Cheesy Puffs are John’s Tapioca Pudding. Now that we have the accountability of the podcast, luckily John and Emily don’t run too far amok. John’s actually finding it easier to get the food he needs and he may be getting into a groove. This has made the anxiety subside. Emily is recording an audiobook version of her book in her other Facebook group to get out of her comfort zone. We really appreciate you listening to our vulnerability. Something about this podcast is the truth serum we have needed as a form of therapy. John goes deep into what he thinks about doing affirmations in the mornings. Emily talks about her morning pages and how she follows the moon cycles! Have you ever looked into the cycles of the moon and how our bodies are attuned with it? Emily takes Ashwagandha every morning and talks about it a bit. Everyone’s a little nuts right now. Folks, hold tight. Yay for the #WinningsWednesdays! Awesome job with the NSVs (Non-Scale Victories) and SVs! Later, Weighters! We’d love to hear your scale and non-scale victories!
