Freedom to Read Week happens every year at the end of February, but if history is any indication, the issue never goes away. To mark the occasion Anne reads from history on banned and challenged books, and guest poet / parent Jane Byers reads from the challenged book “And Tango Makes Three”. The discussion acknowledges that Freedom to Read sometimes involves having conversations about awkward or uncomfortable subjects. We’d like to continue this discussion all year long – with your help!
