Our journey down the Red River of Winnipeg, Manitoba begins with 15-year-old, Tina Fontaine. Eight days after her disappearance, Tina's body was recovered from the Red River stuffed in a garbage bag. Because of the condition of her body, the cause of death could not be conclusively determined and is officially recorded as "undetermined." The man tried for her murder, Raymond Cormier was acquitted by a jury. To this day, the case remains unsolved. Her case sparked outrage among the aboriginal communities of Winnipeg.
