Some people have "the one that got away", and Carlos can double that number. He thought he found love only to lose it on two separate occasions. In college he thought he knew what heartbreak was; but it wasn't until he moved to Portland years later, that he truly lost the love of his life. After moving, he met a girl , fell in love, and found himself living a seemingly perfect life. He was quickly climbing the ranks in the Portland comedy scene, madly in love, and living in Portland for fucks sake, that place seems goddamn serene! However his life changed one more time, and for the worst. Due to a family emergency, he had to move back to New York City and leave everything behind. He had to leave Portland, the girl, and the life he created; the dream was over. Carlos opens those wounds and talks to us about the nitty gritty details of this time in his life that he lost the second girl he loved.
