I'm joined this week by Wera Ingeson for an awful episode that left both of us feeling extremely depressed. It starts off on a bad note as Wera explains how Swedish people butcher pizza, and it ends on a worse one as I talk about how I learned what "lolitics" is and read a painful piece of fan fiction. What's in the middle isn't great either - we talk about Sonic for Real Justice and then read a piece of Avengers fan fiction set in an escape room for no reason. I Like Your Shoelaces is a deep dive into all the hilarious, surreal and possibly illegal stuff that happened during the blogging platform Tumblr's heyday. Each episode, I am joined by a guest to talk about an event or trend from Tumblr that still sticks with us to this day, as well as what they got out of their time on Tumblr and what it meant to them.
