About Anirban Basu

Anirban has been a sales and marketing professional for the last 14 years. Post majoring in Economics (Delhi University) and his MBA in Marketing (SIBM, Pune), Anirban has worked with some of the most iconic global consumer brands and companies like GlaxoSmithKline, PepsiCo and Danone, both in India and international markets. He was shortlisted as one of the best FMCG Marketers in India by Impact Magazine in 2016.

Currently, Anirban is the Global Innovation Director at Danone and based in Bangkok, Thailand. His key professional interests include brand building, driving the P&L and market share, coaching and building diverse teams, and managing complex business challenges. 


Apart from his corporate job, Anirban is also a startup mentor and an angel investor. He is also associated with several universities as a guest speaker, guest faculty member and board advisor.
