I'm so happy to unveil this chat this week, it was a great one - I've known Bri and Gaz for something around a year, maybe more but not a ton of time, and in that time I've been so happy to find out more and more about the creative world in which they live and - well - create! Their most recent work is the gorgeous stage show 'Parakeet', heavy on the music and very full of positive vibes and inspiring messages but with a proper punk aesthetic and really ace message running through it. But they are responsible for a huge amount more, and oh good heavens above you are about to hear all about it...So we get into all things Parakeet, which involves the initial stages of it right up to the Edinburgh run, all things My Beautiful Black Dog (their previous show) and the physical fuel which made it burn so brightly, as well as some really nice forward thinking business about education, art and the arts, culture, music influences and lifestyles, looking after one another on a small and larger scale, process, mental wellbeing, origins, young folk, politics (not too much, you're safe!) and so much more.
