This week’s guest is Dominique Raccah, the entrepreneurial Publisher and CEO of Sourcebooks, which has won every award for innovation in the publishing industry, has created scores of New York Times bestsellers & hundreds of national bestsellers; and is the largest woman-owned book publisher in the United States of America. Publishing a book has always relied heavily on author book tours to promote their books but the Pandemic saw all those tours cancelled in the last couple of years. Retailers and the supply chain suffered but publishers and authors learned to adapt and innovate.Dominique wasn't always a book worm but when she did finally discover the worlds that lay beyond the covers she was hooked. She didn't take the normal route into publishing but instead fell into it through the course of taking another path. Once in, she was gripped, took a progressive approach and led the way into a market-driven route to book publishing success. As her coach said she was the most fearful client he had ever seen, who never allowed that fear to get in the way. Thanks Dominique for being a leading light in the wonderful community of books that help change lives and enlighten souls; for recognizing that every book is personal and every author’s voice has its place, and for knowing when to hold up a book and gift it to the world. You can find out more about Dominique’s work on https://www.sourcebooks.com/And follow her on Instagram @draccah2Join Lou on Linkedin, or sign up to her mailing list for her newsletter and a free bite-size short course on how to be a podcast guest.
