Regular Meetings are held monthly every first and third Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Meeting Chamber of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center located at 600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, NC. Mecklenburg County was formed in 1762 from the western part of Anson County and the first official governmental action took place in February 1763.
