Spike Lee FINALLY won an oscar for his adapted screenplay on this TRUE story. Based on real events we should say. Either way this movie is fantastic. Adam Driver really gives it his all in this, which earned him an Oscar nod. John David Washington really puts on a performance that sadly, wasn’t recognized in the same way. An actually Crime.
