I will begin the podcast by analyzing a poem I wrote as the first poem to be broken down. Beware of Single Storytellers. Is it not sinful that skillful storytellers still spin single stories?/ Passages presented partially flawed by perspective,/ If I were a storyteller, / I’ll never tell you a single story, -----Stanza 2--- I won’t be one to feed you stereotypes,/ My stories would be put together into a bestseller,/ Wrapped in ribbons with red roses as the cover art,/ Read by book club members drinking red wine next to the cellar,/ ----Stanza 3----- I will show them that blind is their mind/ to information that is unknown, / As a result their humanity is being mined,/ But I am no storyteller. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/victor-cruickshank/support
