For today’s episode, my guest is Ava Dellaira, which has me fangirling just a bit as we’re discussing her novel; Love Letters to the dead, which I was obsessed with a couple of years ago, when it first came out. Love Letters to the Dead is Ava’s first young adult fiction novel, surrounding themes of death, grief, friendship, and growth. The book follows the protagonist, Laurel, after she loses her sister and begins to write letters to dead celebrities she once admired (such as Kurt Cobain and other famous faces we’ve unfortunately lost) in order to move on.
