A former Metropolitan Police Officer and the Met’s first openly gay Black police officer, Gamal’s extraordinary journey has taken him from adversity and homelessness to becoming the protagonist of the BAFTA-winning documentary The Black Cop. Through his work, he helps organisations build inclusive cultures where people feel seen, heard, and valued by encouraging courageous conversations that move beyond assumptions, labels, and division.
