FELIX THE RED is a rousing adventure tale about an unlikely hero who discovers what it means to be merciful while caught up in the greatest battle of his life. Felix, a hairless ferret with blood red eyes, is shipped to the New Zealand colony by the British government along with thousands of other mustelids to eliminate the native vermin, which were thought to spread disease and death. But while there, he encounters an unforgettable series of fantastical creatures and extraordinary characters who will change the way he looks at the world and inspire him to lead a whole population to freedom.
