Early/absentee voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 8 in a local regular election in Las Cruces in which Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) will be used for the first time. Those races are for mayor, city councilors in districts 1,2 and 4 and presiding municipal court judge.What is RCV and how does it work?
