Who owns art and when should it be returned? With many objects in museums and galleries being the product of a colonial past, we look at how works can be repatriated to their original owners. This episode we speak with Nick Mitzevitch, Director of the National Gallery of Australia, about the NGA’s recent history of returning works to India and what this might lead to for the Gallery’s Indigenous collections. Hosted by George Dunford. Our theme music is ‘Chasing Waterfalls’ by Tim Shiel. A full transcript can be found at https://www.artshub.com.au/podcast
