Ankur is an NID (National Institute of Design) and CBS (College of Business Studies) alumnus. Wearing multiple hats most times, he is the head of design at the OLX group and the founder of the improv group — Nautankibaaz Improv Comedy (NIC). He has studied improv at various theatres in Seattle and NYC, including Magnet, PIT, Jetcity and Unexpected Productions. The passion for his work in a corporate design career of now 14 years has often melted into the pursuits into theatre and storytelling. Both being complimentary to each in many ways, with words like creativity, novelty, empathy, experience, audience/users, story, emotions and joy jumping across the journeys. While he knows that design thinking changes the way products and services function, he firmly believes that improv has a lot of answers to tough personal and societal questions that we face currently as citizens.
