Amir Javadinia, Ph.D., is a new assistant professor in the Marketing Department at the Florida Atlantic University College of Business. Professor Javadinia recently earned his Ph.D. in marketing from the University of South Carolina and his research uses big data to investigate issues in marketing strategy, especially at the intersection of marketing and finance. Using data from the automobile industry, Professor Javadinia's research examined the effects of product recalls on firm financial performance and market reactions. He also has work under review that is exploring the impact of marketing efforts on online crowdfunding success.Support the show
