AMAZING GRACE
This is a song I wrote about the three Graces of the sea: one being the notorious pirate Grace O'Malley, the queen of all pirates; Grace Darling, who lived her life in a lighthouse and saved eight souls from a watery grave; and Grace, who lives below me and still sails the seas around the world in her seventies. Formidable female mariners hence why I've written the song using the Shipping Forecast, its shanties forming the stanzas.
