Novelist and professor Amanda Harris shares her passion for teaching, writing and openly discusses the ups and downs of a living in academia. Amanda received her MFA from The New School. Her stories have been published in The Normal School and The Missouri Review. She won the Normal Prize for fiction, was a finalist for The Missouri Review’s Editors’ Prize Contest in fiction, and won the 2018 Distinguished Teaching Award at John Jay College. She is currently working on a novel.
