Episode No, 6 is with Oussama Rifahi, Executive Director of the Arab Fund for Arts & Culture (AFAC) based in Beirut. Established in 2007, the organisation has funded 800 projects in 18 Arab Countries and continues to facilitate cultural exchange both in the Arab world and internationally. Oussama Rifahi was appointed Executive Director in 2010 and his previous work includes roles as Managing Director for Museum Development in New York with Global Cultural Asset Management and as Director of Special Projects for the Guggenheim Foundation. As a cultural consultant, he has also advised a wide range of organisations in Europe, the Middle East and central Asia. This interview was recorded at the World Summit on Arts & Culture in Malta organised by IFACCA and Arts Council Malta.
