Our Alignment precedes our Assignment. When we are in position we are ready to be used of God. We’re like a bullet aligned within the gun. The bullet must be in the cylinder, but aligned between the barrel and the hammer. The gun will never fire until all three components are aligned. Likewise, You need to be in the right place, doing the right things, but at the right TIME. Then you’ll be Spiritually Aligned and prepared for the assignment God has for you. If you do not know the TIMES, you are unable to effectively read and relate to our contemporary world. This results in a communication failure. What I mean is, things become lost in translation. You are speaking the language of the past, to a world that is speaking the language of the present. Understanding the times gives you an advantage. It positions you like a runner in a race ahead of the pack. It’s being on the cusp, the cutting edge and in the know. It’s where you want to be.
