Henry Wallace certainly speaks to us today, about the defeat of the left since the Second World War, and the ascendancy of corporate power. Harsh words for us to hear, as we see the Republican Party addicted to fascism, while the Democratic Party tries to win compromises that satisfy Big Oil, Big Pharma, the insurance companies, the health industry, and the ever present war machine.
