Subject ACT covers some interesting fundraising and charity activities going on in and around the Nation’s Capital. In the first part of the program, we are joined by local Photographer Ina Jalil from Ina J Photography to discuss her up and coming fundraising book project called the Tails of Canberra. The Tails of Canberra is a coffee table book showcasing photos of Canberra dogs with the aim to raise funds for dogs in need and the ACT rescue and foster. We take this opportunity to discuss Ina’s work more broadly as a Canberra-based photographer. RESN provides free tutoring and academic support services to regional high school students. Nick is passionate about his cause having experienced some of the disadvantages of completing his high school studies in the rural town of Grafton in northern New South Wales.
