I adored The Bride! From start to finish! Maggie Gyllenhaal crafted an absolutely stunning masterpiece, honoring Mary Shelley like no one else has. Jessie Buckley deserves an Oscar for this raw, nuanced, remarkable performance! I was in awe of her, crying multiple times, feeling so emotionally connected to the bride from the very first scene. Christian Bale gives a fantastic performance as Frank, so humble and relatable. Hats off to the cast and Maggie, I am thoroughly impressed and love this film! I can't comprehend the people criticizing it after expressing a desire for something original yet preferring to watch the 7th installment of a franchise over something so innovative and empowering! I hope Maggie Gyllenhaal realizes she has created pure perfection!
