Today we’ll journey aboard the research boat the L.L. Smith Jr. onto Lake Superior. The trip is part of the popular "View From the Lake" program, which offers residents a chance to see what their communities look like from the water and to get hands-on experience collecting water samples.

Minnesota Sea Grant has teamed up with the “best radio station in Minnesota” – KUMD, to produce Listening to the Lake. The show’s goal is to keep listeners in touch with what’s going on with one of the most beloved aspects of the local environment – Lake Superior. Science-based information is the focus of the series.
