Religion & Spirituality

What does it really mean to submit to one another as in Christ? In her final sermon as a member of the XA at UVA staff, Erin Herrman delivers an detailed account of Ephesians 5:21-33. Along the way, she paints a picture of the social structure of an average Roman household to help us understand the dynamics of what the Scripture meant to its original audience. Ultimately, she challenges us to recognize how we can use the power we have to benefit God's upside down Kingdom.
