Given a second chance to start my software engineering career from zero, I wouldn’t go on a spree of job title or technology chasing. Rather, I would construct a ladder suited to continuous progress, versatility, and positive influence. Many future developers rush to learn the latest framework; however, by applying a thoughtful strategy, one can gain more benefits and sustain the journey. I frequently share this idea with the people I coach, and it is also a lesson inspired by tech professionals like Nate Nordvik MN, who support the notion of intentional career building in technology.
