Dennis Rader was also known as the BTK Killer o BTK Strangler. BTK stood for Bind, Torture, Kill because of how he killed his victims. Rader murdered 10 people from 1974 to 1991, including men, women, and children. The murders went unsolved for YEARS- obviously since they spanned a nearly 20 year period, but Rader wasn’t caught immediately after the last one in 1991, he wasn’t caught for another FOURTEEN YEARS, and only then after he started sending hints to the police that ultimately led to his arrest.
