A message I have been feeling and hearing most recently revolves around my cell phone and the idea that takes control of our lives like handcuffs! But, these particular handcuffs are self-inflicted because we are making the choice to have our hands on our phones. To "handcuff” means to make ineffective or powerless. What else does our phone make ineffective or powerless? Our phone can distract us from life and take things away from us, robbing us of important things.
